Meet the Team

Sierra Mazzarini

Sierra is currently an undergraduate Biomedical Engineering Major at the University of California, Irvine. Sierra’s responsibility as the team leader was to organize the different members of the team and make sure that each team member was used so that the work got done efficiently. She also has experience in 3D modeling/design for any CAD or SolidWorks modeling that the team needed.

Andrew Duncan

Andrew is currently an undergraduate Biomedical Engineering Major at the University of California, Irvine. Andrew’s responsibilities for this project lie with his expertise in arduino wiring and bluetooth connectivity of the device. He has done research in this topic and has a lot of experience in general circuit design.

Nichole Iaquinta

Nichole is currently an undergraduate Materials Science Engineering Major at the University of California, Irvine. Nichole’s responsibilities for this project included researching materials and making sure that all of the materials used are compatible with the body and will not harm any of the other components in the device.

Arian Cano

Arian is currently an undergraduate Biomedical Engineering Major at the University of California, Irvine. Arian’s responsibilities for this project included coding, circuitry, and aesthetic appearance. She helped all of the other team members coordinate with their different specialties, as she has background in all of the different fields.

Anna Smirnova

Anna is currently an undergraduate Biomedical Engineering Major at the University of California, Irvine. Anna’s responsibilities for this project were within force gauges and connecting these devices with the arduino with wiring. Her knowledge in coding was helpful to the team.
